Responses to self defense situations must be tempered to ensure that the force and techniques used are reasonable. You may be arrested or sued.

As potentially lethal force cannot be justified in many situations, training in nonlethal controlling skills including holds, strangles and joint manipulation should be part of your training.

Although martial arts and sports have a lot to offer, they are oriented to activities for promotions and contests with rules limiting the attacker’s and defender’s actions. It is imperative to train for “no rules” situations and utilizing skills from various martial sciences.
